Movie Review Of Snowman By Linda Ochugbua

The title of the movie kind of gave it away for me. It was easy to predict that it was going to take the twist of a man who had an affiliation to the Snow weather, but the technicalities and details made the difference.

Tomas Alfredson the movie director had a well thought after story, they twisted this story so well, that we almost gave up trying to predict who was responsible for all the women who had died. I kept suspecting different people even though my head was telling me the real evil people.

The Snowman was in the habit of killing women, whether married or single as long as they faulted or so he thought. He wanted to eliminate them all and solve the problem of unfaithful and uncaring mothers leaving their children behind to suffer. There was a new cop Katrine Bratt (Rebecca Ferguson) who moved into town to investigate and get rid of the killer. Herself and Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender), worked closely to unravel the mystery.

At the beginning of the movie we witnessed where a woman drove herself and her son to the side of an ice river, hoping they will both drown, but luckily the boy survived. He could only but watch his mom die, which led to him growing up to be a bitter and unhappy man. This began the series of events that unfolded in the movie.

Every night young female between the ages of 25-40 years of age, died mysteriously. This began to worry the police department of the town to make sure that the killer of these young beautiful ladies was brought to the books. Which they eventually did, but I want you to watch the movie to know who it was.

Snowman really didn’t get a lot of good ratings for one reason or the other people didn’t really like or connect with it but I tried to be patient and just see it. For the stress and production, I will give it a 6/10. I leave the recommendation for you to do, just mind who you share your problems with.
