Memory Lane: Toke Makinwa And Chigurl Remember Their Late Dads

Comedienne Chioma Omeruah, popularly known as Chigurl took “to her Instagram page in the morning to celebrate her late father who would have clocked 74 today.

“Your fine self would have turned 74 today….how time flies….I always wonder what you would think of me and my present career. Dad…people think I’m quite talented…I think I got some of that from you, to be honest..Thank you for our good “broughtupsy”…..I will do my best to continue to make you proud and that OMERUAH name shall remain great… Happy birthday Sir…Rtd. Air Commodore Sampson Emeka Omeruah….a true officer and gentleman… Permission to carry on……”


Media Personality Toke Makinwa is also remembering her dad today. She posted on social media that all she wants is for his name to be written in the stars, because she knows he died with very big plans.

‘My father died with big dreams, the year he died he was making big plans and that has haunted me to continue to be more. I just want his name written in the stars, I just want him to know the God he served fulfilled all he promised him, even in death!’ – she tweeted.

May the souls of both dads continue to rest in God’s bosom.
